Membership
Classes of Membership
Service (Ordinary) Members:
The following persons shall be eligible as Service (Ordinary) members:-
- A female who served in the Australian Defence Force who can produce evidence of service.
- A female currently serving in the Australian Defence Force who can produce evidence of service.
- A female who was a member of a Commonwealth or Allied Defence Force who can produce evidence of service.
- A female who was a member of the Land Army who can produce evidence of service in that field.
The annual subscription for Service (Ordinary) Membership is $10.00
Submit a completed form to The Secretary, along with the subscription fee.
Life Members:
Life membership may be granted to Service (Ordinary) members who have done outstanding and meritorious work for the association for at least seven years, been financial members of the association for at least 10 years. Life members shall be entitled to all of the benefits and advantages of ordinary membership are not required to pay an annual subscription.
Loyal Members:
Loyal membership may be granted to Service (Ordinary)Members who in the opinion of the Committee, have been supportive members for several years and who are now disadvantaged due to medical-based restrictions. Loyal members shall not be required to pay an annual subscription. Loyal members will be entitled to all of the benefits and advantages of ordinary membership. The aim of the class of membership is to be ‘so that a loyal member remains a member to the end’.
Honorary Members:
Honorary membership may be granted to a person who, although not a member of the association, has voluntarily provided meritorious assistance benefiting the association. Honorary members shall enjoy all the rights and privileges of ordinary membership except that they do not have voting rights and may not hold office. Honorary members shall not be required to pay an annual subscription. The award of honorary membership is bestowed on approval of a general meeting of the Association.
Associate Members:
Associate Membership may be granted to persons who support the objects of the Association. Associate members shall enjoy all the rights and privileges of ordinary membership except that they do not have voting rights and may not hold office.
The annual subscription for Associate Membership is $15.00
